New Publication Promotes Burkinabe Culture  

PANA (Dakar)

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso

A colour tabloid was launched Sunday in Burkina Faso with a specific mission to promote Burkinabe culture through arts, music and youth activities.

'Label Magazine' is published by Seydoni Production, a music marketing firm. The maiden issue had 20 pages, with four of them in colour.

As the first specialised publication in this area in Burkina Faso, the publishers said, the magazine's objective is to contribute to the emancipation of youths, promote arts and development of Burkinabe culture with special emphasis on music.

Set up in 1997, Seydoni Production has a modern recording studio in Ouagadougou.
